Christine Roque, Director

She/Her

Christine is originally from San Antonio, Texas. After graduating college, Christine spent two years as a Mass Promise Fellow where she served with the BE SAFE Initiative at the AIDS Action Committee and Health Resources in Action – she is certainly a proud MPF Alum! Prior to starting her Director role with the Fellowship in July 2021, Christine spent 10 years with uAspire where she directed the MA high school advising program, supporting 30+ partnerships in the Boston area and 3,000+ students in their endeavors to achieve an affordable college education. Christine earned her BA in Psychology from Boston University. She is also a graduate of The Institute for Nonprofit Practice with a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. Christine lives in Boston with her husband and two sons. She enjoys running, biking, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Olivia Harris, Program Manager

She/Her

Olivia joined MPF as a Program Manager in July 2022. Originally from Florida, Oliva moved to Boston to pursue her BS from Northeastern University in Political Science and Human Services. During her time at Northeastern Oliva served two years with Americorp’s Jumpstart program working in early childhood education. Olivia is passionate about educational equity for underrepresented students and is an advocate for just and inclusive systems. She joins MPF with robust experience in the nonprofit and education sector most recently serving youth and young adults with disabilities in Boston Public Schools and the Greater Boston area. In her free time, Olivia enjoys exploring Boston’s food scene, cooking, podcasts, running, and trips with friends and family.

Mona Miao, Program Manager

She/Her

Mona joined the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship as a Program Manager in December 2023 and oversees recruitment, data and evaluation. A MA-licensed educator who is passionate about educational equity, youth development and engaged leadership, Mona has over 8 years of diverse experiences with non-profits, youth organizations, higher education, and schools, including teaching 8th grade science and directing summer youth programs in the Cambridge & Greater Boston area. Mona earned her B.A. in psychology and M.Ed. in teaching from Harvard University. Outside of work, Mona enjoys singing, cooking, board games, learning new skills, staying active, and spending lots of time with friends, family and pets.
