We are recruiting nonprofits, city agencies, and schools to apply to host a 2024-2025 AmeriCorps Massachusetts Promise Fellow. Each year, 30 Fellows lead out-of-school time programs focused on building social emotional learning (SEL) skill development through academic enrichment and college and career exploration for youth in grades 6-12 in communities across the Commonwealth.
During the eleven month term of service, Mass Promise Fellows:
- Provide direct service, serve as a caring adult to youth
- Support a cohort of 15+ youth for 100+ hours over the academic year
- Engage in one-on-one youth advising, group workshops
- Provide additional capacity to host organizations
